Prague’s biggest and best Halloween party, now in its 11th year.

His last show in Prague sold out quickly, and even in a bigger venue we bet this one will too. Additional info/tickets: here.

9.11 – Saint Martin’s Festival – Naplavka (and around Prague)
We’re sure St Martin was a cool guy, and his day probably means more than the ‘Goose & Young Wine’ that we associate it with, but on the other hand those aren’t bad things to be associated with, so he’d probably be okay with it. Find us down at Naplavka chomping on some roasted goose and sipping on the last young wine of the season.
10.11 – The Lumineers (USA)– Forum Karlin
Massive modern Americana band The Lumineers return to Prague, with Mighty Oaks opening. Tickets/additional info: here.
13.11 – De La Soul (USA)– Lucerna Great Hall
Talk about legendary American hip hop. Tickets/additional info: here.
15.11 – Chase & Status (UK) – Roxy
Drum and bass! Oh yes. Tickets/additional info: here.
16.11 – Wilkinson (UK) – Storm Club
Wilkinson always spins banger d&b anthems when he comes to Prague and we expect nothing else this year. Tickets/additional info: here.
17.11 – Struggle For Freedom & Democracy Day
The 17th of November is a massive day of remembrance for the Czechs. On November 17, 1939, there was a student demonstration against the Nazi occupation, and on the same day in 1989, there was a mass demonstration against the communist government (i.e. the start of the Velvet Revolution.) Both dates played a pivotal part of the Czech’s fight for freedom and democracy, and that fight is commemorated every 17th of November. Expect memorials, demonstrations as well as concerts, parades and exhibitions throughout the country. This is the 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution, so we expect the festivities to be bigger than ever.
18.11 – Glen Hansard (IRL) – Divadlo Archa
Glen Hansard can never seem to stay away from Prague for long, which suits us just fine. Tickets/additional info: here.
20.11 – Cigarettes After Sex (USA) – Roxy
Shoegaze is making a comeback, and this is one of the biggies. Tickets/additional info: here.
